To grow its economy, Georgia is focusing on developing three of its major industries--tourism and hospitality, global commerce through the Ports of Savannah and Brunswick, and the film and entertainment industry. Elementary teachers are second on the list with 2,510 openings per year and 2010 earnings of $52,400. A number of Georgia hot jobs are in "green" industries; careers include marketing and construction managers, financial analysts and logisticians, public relations and training and development specialists and industrial engineers.
