The New York State Department of Labor predicts that between 2006 and 2016 that job growth for professional and business services will be 1.5 percent annually. Business occupations will play a prominent place in this growth but are not considered to be among the fastest growing occupations. Those who have earned business degrees, however, can be more competitive for available jobs.
