Online Art & Design Degrees and Careers

There is no doubt that you need talent to make a career in arts and design. Talent on its own is unlikely to be enough, however. Many people who can draw, paint, or sculpt would like to earn a living in a design field, and they will not all succeed. In order to optimize your career outlook it is important to acquire a solid technique by pursuing an art education at an art college or other institute. An art education program will vary according to the area you wish to focus on, be it graphic design, interior design, fashion design, or another field. An education at an art college will develop both your esthetic sense and the various techniques (including computer design) required to make your work commercially viable. The best jobs will go to graduates, and a bachelor-level degree is now a standard requirement for many entry-level arts and design positions.
