Nutrition degree programs prepare student to prepare for their professions in hospitals, nursing care facilities, and offices of physicians and other health practitioners. Nutritionists and dietitians create food and nutrition programs and oversee meal preparation and serving. They can manage food service in hospitals and schools, or work in a clinical setting with individual patients.
