According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), communications & media jobs are expected to grow by 24 percent between 2008 and 2018, which would result in 66,200 new jobs. Fulfilling work internships, as available through many communications & media degree programs, could also help. The profession's 2009 median wage was $51,960, according to figures from the BLS.
