Rio Salado College, a member of the Maricopa County Community College District, offers a 100% online teaching credential that fulfills Arizona state licensure requirements. No on-campus residency is required, but each student is expected to sign on as a student teacher in his or her local district. The program can be completed online in one to two years, and includes bimonthly one-on-one discussions with experienced teachers (which can be done in person, online, via videoconferencing, or over the telephone).
